Champagne Floats

Most special occasions wouldn’t feel right without champagne.  The dramatic pop of the cork and the flow of bubbly ambrosia into tall, elegant flutes add flair and festivity to weddings, New Year’s Eve parties, and graduation celebrations. But why wait for these big events to imbibe in this festive drink? Every day is full of small victories.  Let’s celebrate these little moments of triumph and give them their proper due. And as long as we’re at it, let’s get creative about it, too!

Rachel Willis, of {I Love} My Disorganized Life, kicks a tall flute of bubbly up a notch by adding a scoop of berry sherbet to the glass.  These champagne floats sound perfect for Sunday brunch, a barbecue with friends, or drinks with you girlfriends.

Every day is special. Let’s raise our glasses to that!

I’m a no-pattern-sewing, eye-ball-it-crafting, shortcut-recipe-making kind of girl. Rather than spending a ton of time on complicated recipes and patterns, I prefer to whip things up in a jiffy for instant gratification, and I love sharing them with my readers. I live in Southern Arizona with my husband of 20+ years and three of our five children. I'm a sucker for old missions, chocolate, babies, cocktails and puppies {not necessarily in that order}.
