Strawberry Cordial

Yum

Succulent strawberries are easy to come by these days. When they’re in season, they’re hard to beat simple and unadorned. If you plan to pick up some berries for nibbling soon, grab a few extra pints to make yourself some homemade strawberry cordial.

Pang of CIRCAHAPPY shares her flavorful cordial recipe to help us capture the season’s strawberry goodness long after fresh berries disappear from the market.  Infusing alcohol with sweet, fresh berries is a simple and satisfying project, even if you don’t consider yourself a DIY type.

Strawberry cordial does need to steep for two to four months, so the sooner you get this easy project going, the sooner you’ll be able to enjoy it! Why not make a few extra jars so you’ll have a supply to give as gifts?
