Math Games: Numeral Identification & Counting, Dinosaurs by Lessons Learnt Journal

Our family is mad about dinosaurs. My almost 17 month old baby girl lets out the cutest, to-die-for, “roar” whenever she hears the word, “Dinosaur”.

I love sharing engaging activities for children and this math game is certainly engaging for our dinosaur mad brood. This fun math game develops early numeral identification and counting skills…with dinosaurs (of course)! I’ve included free printable cards.

This math game, Mummy and Baby Dinosaurs is suitable for children who are unable to identify and name all numerals 1-10. It aims to help children develop the concept of the number of items in a collection and making the correct collection to match a given numeral, in the range 1 to 10.
