How to Become an Outdoor Mom
You briefly think back to all of those times before you had kids. When you hiked in solitude when you could move down a trail quickly and weren’t packing the extra weight that only a soiled diaper can bring.
For a moment, you resent the child on your back.
But then you smile and head down the trail because you have a baby, a baby that you raised inside of your body, a baby that you delivered, or a baby that became yours because she needed a home, a baby who you have nurtured and unconditionally love on the trail with you.
You smile because you’re a total badass.
