Strawberry Flatbread with Balsamic Onions and Goat Cheese

Garnish with Lemon

Yum

This Strawberry Flatbread with Balsamic Onions and Goat Cheese is simple, sweet, and savory. Anna of Garnish with Lemon shares her trick for producing this flavorful dish with minimal effort: adding toppings to prepared naan.

Served as the main event or an appetizer, the flatbread’s combination of caramelized onions, tangy goat cheese, and ripe strawberries strikes the perfect sweet-savory flavor balance. Anna says, “Luscious, ruby red spring strawberries are like little jewels on top of the flatbread when it comes out of the oven.”

Caramelized onions keep well in the fridge, and Anna recommends making them ahead of time so they’re ready for “those ‘I’m hungry NOW!’ moments.”  Make an extra large batch, because they’re great on just about anything!
