There are so many positive aspects of skiing (including that kids in 5th and 6th grade can ski for FREE this year!). It is the perfect way for you and your family to get outdoors and enjoy the winter weather. Not only is it great exercise, but it is also incredibly fun!

However, kids don’t automatically know how to ski safely. We have to help them learn; so, talk to your kids about skiing safety. Learn the Code together, and then practice what you’ve learned on the snow.

I’ve written about tips for living the Code, skiing together and understanding mountain safety. Don’t be surprised when your kids start helping you ski more safely, too!
