Everything Fish Nuggets, Cookbook Review by Noshing With The Nolands
I am so happy to be sharing this cute cookbook with you here today. I love kids cook books and we have lots of them. They have given my daughter a passion to cook and learn more about food from an early age. I have been an advocate that children are not born to be picky eaters that we create them. We give into their whims and requests instead of teaching them about food. One great way, is to have kids in the kitchen with you. It sure helps if they have a colorful, easy and fun cookbook to follow along with, even little ones can look at the pictures while mommy cooks in the kitchen. You will have so much more success in getting them to try new things if they are hands on involved. Plus the bonus is that you get to spend some really good quality time together.
This cookbook has 60 easy-to-make kosher recipes. Every recipe has a photo plus additional step-by-step photos and “Cooking School” tips to teach young cooks many new techniques. Kids feel accomplished, confident and proud of their first dishes made with mom or dad. Recipes are categorized by sections of “dairy”, “meat, chicken and fish”, “on the side”, “snack time” and “desserts”.
My daughter and myself made these scrumptious “Everything Fish Nuggets“. They were fun to make and thoroughly enjoyed by all. You could see the pride she had in serving them to her father!! We did need to double the topping for the nuggets, but I think you would be fine with this amount if you made sticks.
The “Everything” part of the recipe is from an everything bagel. Crispy, crunchy and full of flavor, healthy little nuggets. There are lots of other recipes to try to like, Spinach Quesadillas, Pizza Soup, Honey BBQ Chicken Nuggets, Cauliflower Poppers, Toasted Bow Tie Chips and Peanut Butter Pizzelle Cake to name a few.
