SWEET POTATO FRIES WITH A SMOKEY PAPRIKA AOILI ::: Noshing with the Nolands
I love a crispy texture, it goes along way with me. I think it is a lot of peoples favorite also. From a crisp apple to the crunch of a salted potato chip that character is a great sensation, pair that with something creamy to dip in and man you have got it made.
About Tara: Tara’s love of cooking started at a very young age where she would cook for her family. That love has continued over the years and now includes lots of time spent in the kitchen with her husband and daughter creating and entertaining. She also has a new found love of photography, working hard to increase her skills. When pulled away from the kitchen the family loves to explore and travel. You can follow Tara on Facebook , Twitter or Pinterest.
YOGURT! ::: Wild Yeast
Great news about yogurt: in addition to being tangy, creamy, delicious, it’s one of the most healthful foods around. Regular consumption of yogurt, like other fermented foods, has beneficial effects on cholesterol, immune function, and digestive tract health. Yogurt is also a rich source of calcium and protein, and can often be enjoyed even by people who are lactose-intolerant. And the best news of all: it’s simple to make your own! Heat some milk, add a little “starter” (store-bought yogurt or some of your own from the last batch), keep it warm for a few hours, and you’re done. No really, it’s that simple.
About Susan: Susan is the creator of the bread-baking blog Wild Yeast. Her love of baking with yeast has led her to begin exploring other culinary fermentative processes, such as yogurt-making. A graduate of the San Francisco Baking Institute’s professional bread and pastry program, Susan remains most interested in figuring out how to pull bakery-quality breads from her home oven, and helping others learn how to do so. Susan is also a family nurse practitioner in a community clinic.

FLEUR de SEL CAKES ::: Chic and Gorgeous Treats
How do Fleur de Sel Cakelets sound to you? Is it like music to the ears? Fleur de Sel in French may translate as ‘Flower of Salt’ and these little decadent individual Fleur de Sel Cakelets are my very own version of what I think a Flower of Salt Cake should be. Dark Rich Sour Cream Chocolate is the base of the cake, then filled with Dulce de Leche & Cream Cheese filling, coated with Semi-Sweet Chocolate Glaze, and lastly sprinkled with crushed cereal to serve. They are a perfect tea time or after dinner treat that will leave you, your family, and guests wanting more.
