Blender vs. Food Processor by Life Currents
My mom got a food processor for Christmas, though, she still isn’t sure how to use it. And, she wanted to know if she could just use her blender instead. This got me to thinking, what’s the difference between the blender and the food processor? I mean, they’re both small appliances that use fast rotating blades to chop, blend, puree, or liquefy food. Right? I did a little research into the blender vs. food processor. What’s the difference? And, what’s the best use for each? Find out!
ABOUT DEBI: A vegetarian for over 20 years, I recently started eating sustainable seafood as well. I’m really interested in healthy stuff, whole foods, preserving, and getting back to real foods and methods. I love learning new things, and will do research projects that I share with my readers. I believe that eating at home is very important, not only to our health – the food we cook at home is full of fresh veggies which have nutrients that surpass anything that we get out at a restaurant. Eating at home allows us to spend time with our families that eating out just doesn’t provide. When you cook together and sit down together with a meal that you’ve created together, there’s just so much more of a bond with each other.
