I have been trying to make most of the favors for our birthday parties and when my daughter requested a rainbow theme I knew exactly what I was going to do – rainbow crayons. Who wouldn’t like a rainbow crayon? And even better, I was going to use all those little pieces of crayons that were piling up in the crayon box.

Why don’t you have a go? You’ll need some basic supplies and about an hour of your time.  You too can make adorable rainbow crayons. My girl was really impressed and so were all of her guests.  Since the party, there has been a lot of rainbow drawing in our house.

Sew in the CityABOUT IRINA: Irina is a busy mother of two who writes her own blog called Sew And The City. Initially the blog started as a place to feature all those sewing projects but since then Irina has ventured into many different crafts. Her favorite craft tool is her glue gun and she has so far managed to persuade all of her friends that they need one too. But although the sewing machine is not used as much as she would like, she still likes to think that she is most “famous” for her sewing creations.
