Do you yell at your kids?
I do. I wish I didn’t, I try not to, I feel terrible afterwards. It’s taken me years to realize that
- There are concrete strategies I can use so that this happens less often, and
- Getting yelled at occasionally will not crush my child’s spirit.
So now my goal is to…
Yell at kids less.
The more ideas and tricks I can use to communicate with my kids when I’m frustrated the less often I will raise my voice so that the neighbors know what my children apparently do not hear. I hope these tools are as useful for you as they have been for me! Will you let me know?
