What do you get when you combine mediocre sewing skills, fabric glue, penny pinching frugality, a teething baby, and a Type A mother’s drive to make everything Pinterest perfect?
A disaster.
A rainbow colored disaster.
Never has my tagline of “wannabe crafty mom” been more appropriate as last summer when I innocently tried to make the best first birthday party invitation ever created in the history of the world. Ever.
I had an image in my mind and a really strong desire, (obsession? ok, we can go with obsession), to make it work. As it started to spin wildly out of control, I charged forward in what can only be called stupid determination.
