5 Reasons to go Camping for Your Next Family Vacation

Mommy Loves Trees

When we planned our week and a half long, 2500 mile road trip for last summer, my husband and I decided we would do a combination of camping and hotels stays. Partly because there are not campgrounds in all the areas we would be visiting and partly because my husband wanted a break from camping.

It didn’t take us long to realize that we preferred camping. We discovered that hotels just turned out to be more work and less enjoyable. Surprised? As my husband is not an outdoor enthusiast, I was both surprised and encouraged by that outcome. But even my non-outdoorsy husband was able to recognize and appreciate the benefits of spending time outdoors as a family.

HOT TIP: We tried out Coleman’s memory foam sleeping bag and it is a game changer!!
