Do you like a good mystery? We do! Books, mysteries, quotes, authors, computers and your kids–all tied into one! What could be more fun for World Read Aloud Day! It’s time to look, read and listen for clues!

In celebrating World Read Aloud Day with LitWorld and these amazing middle-grade mystery fiction authors, let’s go on a virtual scavenger hunt! Each link below (click the yellow post-it) will take you to the participating author’s site.  The posts are listed here in alphabetical order, but the clues are not! There are 6 clues and answers in all!

F.T. Bradley--photoF.T. Bradley is the author of Double Vision (Harper Children’s), a middle-grade mystery trilogy featuring Linc Baker. She’s originally from the Netherlands, and now lives on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with her husband and two daughters. F.T. still likes to travel, like Double Vision’s main character Linc, whenever she can.

A graduate of Boston College (English & Communications, 1997) and Emerson College (MFA, 1999); she teaches writing at Montserrat College of Art and lives outside of Boston with her husband, two children, and a very indignant dog.

Kristen Kittscher is a former middle school English teacher and debut author of The Wig in the Window, the first in a funny new middle grade mystery series published by Harper Children’s. A graduate of Brown University with a degree in comparative literature, Kristen was recently named the
2014 James Thurber House Children’s Writer-in-Residence.
She lives in Pasadena, California with her husband.
