The Woman in the Mirror by Holdin’ Out for a Hero
I’m not an overly negative person—at least, I don’t consider myself overly negative. So, when one of the founders of the BlogHer conference contacted me, inviting me to participate in an unprecedented fashion show with fifteen other bloggers, it surprised me just how cynical I was about the whole thing. It’s not that I wasn’t grateful for the opportunity I was being offered—the real problem was myself. And it was one that I would have to face head-on.
