What is it all about?

The scent of fresh trees and the smell of the earthy ground, a breeze in your hair, the warm sun kissing your skin, the sound of trickling water and the sting and itchiness of being eaten alive by mosquitoes – yes, that is what the outdoors are all about. Well, not the mosquito part but the rest, along with the relaxation, the quietness from all the hustle and bustle of city life, the slow pace and the views and scenery you just can’t get anywhere but from a trail.
ABOUT MELISSA: Melissa was a stay-at-home mom until March 2012 when she and her photographer husband opened the Edge Gallery in Moab, UT. Melissa now spends here time working the gallery, motivating and inspiring parents to get outside with their tykes over at adventuretykes.com and raising their 3.5 year old son J-Man. She is an avid runner, hiker, amateur chef, wine lover and goof.
