Felt Monarch Butterfly Wings (Tutorial) by Buggy and Buddy
Do your kids love imaginary play and dress-up? These felt monarch butterfly wings are just perfect for creative play. My 5 year old has been fluttering around in them both inside and outside for days! The butterfly wings would also make a great costume for Halloween. If you pair the wings with some black leggings and a black top, you’ve got the perfect monarch butterfly costume!
I just love how they lend themselves to so many options~ you could create just about any butterfly you’d like! I’m already planning to add a few more butterfly wings to our dress-up collection!
The wings really are quite simple to make with very minimal sewing. So grab some felt and glue and head on over to Buggy and Buddy to get started making your own felt monarch butterfly wings!
