If you’re a mom of many boys, look away now!

A new study has found that moms of sons die earlier than moms of daughters. And the more boys you have, the bigger their impact.

Each son born lops 34 weeks off a woman’s lifespan. That me-time you were looking forward to in your sixties? Better cram it in now.

Why do boys have this effect? And why is it only on mothers, not fathers? As mom to three young sons, I had to find out. I devoted a day to science to collect some data … and had my own eureka moment.
