Two fabulous (and brilliant) mamas, Audrey and Amy from Akron, Ohio, have a Kickstarter campaign beginning on Sept. 14 and it is our job to help them spread the word!

Let’s talk campaign details…

The theme is “Simplify.”  Now this doesn’t mean the title to your post should be “Simplify” or even have the word “Simplify” in it. (I mean how crazy would it look if we had 13 posts with the same title?!)  We want YOUR spin on it.

Essays, recipes, tips and activities. We want to make our readers’ lives a little easier, lighter, and more inspired now that school is getting started. These ideas are just the tip of the iceberg. The interpretations of this word / concept are endless, and we can’t wait to see your creative ideas!

SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN FROM AUGUST 31 – SEPTEMBER 8.

What are we looking for?

• Content to fit into the themes of each of our rooms.
• Original posts in clean and edited format. We follow AP Style guidelines.
• Submissions that reflect our mission.
• Essays / recipes / activity / hacks  between 300-600 words.
• Readable format with paragraphs of three-to-four sentences.
• If you are submitting a Word doc, please add your name and the name of your post within the text of the document.

If you have images to go along with your piece, please include them with your submission.

Payment

We will count pageviews using Google Analytics after 60 days.

At the end of 60 days, you will earn one of the following:
*$50 for 0 – 9,999 Pageviews
*$100 for 10,000 – 49,999 Pageviews
*$150 for 50,000 – 99,999 Pageviews
*$200 for 100,000+ Pageviews

Yes, you could earn up to $200 depending on how many pageviews your post receives by the end of the campaign. We will pay within 75 days of your post going live.
