As a mom I want my children to do their best and enjoy the experience without worrying about whether they win or loose, but I’m a human and a bit competitive myself so I want them to win, for them, and a bit for me. You bring up great points, especially how your own feelings made you want to miss the big game, and I love that you didn’t.
