It can be really hard to listen to your own voice, especially when people you love and trust are saying everything is okay (or not okay, whatever the case may be). My mother and I went through a very difficult time because she did not want to believe something could be so wrong with one of her grandchildren. Thanks again! xo

Thanks for sharing these great tips (and words of wisdom). I definitely have to remind myself to stop, take a breath, and not believe everything I read/hear about when dealing with anything going on with my children (or loved ones in general). It can be so hard sometimes.

In reply to Toulouse. Thank you so much!! You are so right, the famous "Nothing wrong" is said so often, and a lot of the times (at least in my experience) it's the doctors who tell us this. I am so lucky that my husband told me to listen to my gut. Thanks again! xo

This is amazing advice. It can be hard for moms not to let someone talk them out of a diagnosis, especially when they’re saying what you want to hear, like “Nothing’s wrong.” But it’s so important to listen to your gut because if you wait, you’re wasting valuable intervention time. Thank so much for sharing this, Kathy. I know your advice will help someone, and probably many.
