It is our forever and ever house.

A house filled with laughter and joy.

A house where games of Monopoly never end, where you can read books in the leafy branches of a treehouse, follow a winding path to create projects galore in a tiny art house and tell jokes that always end with “orange you glad you didn’t say banana.” A house with turtles and fish and dogs and cats. A house where a warm fire, a good book and a cup of hot tea are always waiting. A house for friends and family to know they are special.

You can make this….quick stretchy pencil skirt

This is a pencil skirt I made a long time ago that I’ve absolutely loved because of how easy it was to make it, how comfy it is, and how many times I’ve worn it, even throughout pregnancy. It took me a whole 30 minutes to make too! If you use a thicker stretchy fabric and make it a perfect fit, you will find it quite flattering too! I could wear this stretchy pencil skirt while managing two kiddos…so yes, it is mom approved.

ABOUT COTTON & CURLS: I’m originally from Seattle area and moved to Idaho with my mom, where I gained 2 step sisters and 5 step brothers on top of my 3 brothers. A very male dominated family and a very awesome one. I went to Brigham Young University in Provo Utah, and graduated in clinical psychology. I married my (hot hot hot) husband Danny 3 years ago and 2 years after that we had darling Beck, who is now 18 months old – LOVE both to pieces.
