I’ve never tried it with port, as we aren’t wine drinkers, but I will say that homemade cranberry sauce ROCKS! My husband always hated cranberry sauce until I made it homemade. Now, if we’re at my family for Thanksgiving, I always cringe when my grandma brings cranberry sauce, pre-sliced.

I have made a recipe before that has fresh (well, frozen) peaches cooked with it. After it’s all cooked, you bake it with a box-stuffing mix that has been pulverized and sprinkled on top.

It is probably to early to pour myself some port right now BUT you certainly have tempted me. Your cranberry relish recipe looks delicious. Wish I could be invited to your thanksgiving but since I’m not, I’ll have to borrow your recipe and impress my family. Thanks for sharing!
