This is one of my worst nightmares. It’s right up there with my irrational fear that the kids will suddenly know how to turn on my car and take it for a spin around the block. I actually thought this story was going to go another route, that perhaps she’d left one of her kids at home. Not that I’ve, uh, ever done that or anything.
