We've always had open, honest & age appropriate discussions with our daughters about sex, knowing that that's the best way to keep them safe. After a recent conversation with my 13yo though, I feel like I neglected to give her enough power.

I know it’s tough Susan! Especially since Sex Ed from schools and parents have typically been absent in everyone’s life, so you may feel like the blind leading the blind sometimes….but just keep in mind that you are giving your kids a very useful gift (they will be confident and secure about their bodies and boundaries)…even if it makes other adults uncomfortable! Don’t hesitate to ask me questions! Good luck 🙂
