Awesome post. Glad I stopped by.

We enjoy our veggie garden too. Our winters here keep us from gardening when the weather turns cold. Our grandchildren light up when they come by to pick veggies for their dinner. A beautiful post, thank you for haring xo

I am so jealous of those who can keep a garden. I would love to have one but, well, i just don’t do well with bugs and creepy crawly things. Maybe someday

I am jealous of those able to keep plants alive. They come to my house to die. I, too, have fond memories of gardening with my grandfather growing up.

It brings families and friends together like nothing else can. I have never tried gardening, but am seriously considering that now. It would be an excellent bonding activity for my daughter and me.

My parents were and still are avid gardeners. I knew what a compost pile was long before it was the thing to do and I remember many long drives home from my uncles dairy farm in the family volvo with cow manure in the trunk!! I got into gardening later in life, after I became a mom and it is a real pleasure watching my kids play while I garden, or cut flowers with my kids, or make a flower arrangement with them for a teacher or their room. I loved how you met and fell in love with your husband over a garden. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely piece and your lovely photos with our readers!
