Reading this for the first time and I absolutely love it. As the mother of two boys (who desperately wanted a girl!) I can’t imagine my life any other way. Having boys is great and I’m absolutely raising them “the girl way!”…it’s the only way I know how 🙂

Their wives will thank us someday for teaching them thoughtful manners. With three sons that is the only way I will get daughters… Telling my boys, “pick me good daughters”. When, (and if), they choose a mate perhaps they will consider my request!

I have three boys and am trying to raise them in the same way you describe, so I guess I’m doing it the girl way too! I will say though that their personalities seem pre-ordained and I can only do so much to make them cuddly or open with their feelings. I’ve got one who loves to cuddle, I have another who will talk about his feelings endlessly and another who has great difficulty doing so. I’m raising them all the same way, but sometimes their testosterone wins! 🙂
