Those special little touches that books offer us are irreplaceable. This year when I opened up a friend’s worn copy of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” I had the same feelings. Thank you for sharing your gift of language with us!

This is the link There are already quite a few books linked in that you might be interested in. It would be great if you came on over. Cheers

If you knew how many times I’ve searched for copies of the books I read as a child I’d have to invite you to look at my “favorites” bookshelf.

Though I do use an e-reader when I travel for myself, I will never tire of the beauty of holding, smelling, and reading a book. It is always such a pleasure.

Thanks so much for sharing your treasure hunt and finds with us. So special.

I too have a love affair with books, the actual copy of a book that I read as a child, or a beloved book that my husband bought me when we were dating. There is something almost mystical about touching the pages in one stage of life and then re-touching them again in a later stage. I too have nothing against e-readers but to me nothing can take the place of a physical book. Thanks again!!
