Bravo for writing this open letter. I’m sure it took a lot of courage, and introspection. I know plenty of wives that are not self-aware enough to even consider themselves to be part of the problem.

Thank you for bringing this to our readers and to my husband and I. You found words to say what I needed to say in the past and it really helps to create a level of understanding that was previously missing due to my lack of words. I have so many things for which I need to apologize to my husband. Thank you. Thank you for telling your story, for realizing that there are others who might need to read it. I’m sure my husband needs to apologize to me as well, but this isn’t about him. It’s about me and what I’ve learned about myself, what I see myself doin/saying, and acknowledging that it won’t always be this way and I’m sorry it’s gotten this bad. The phases of a marriage are nothing short of miraculous. Hold on.
