I feel for the moms, because I grew up in a similar intolerant area, and can imagine what they’re dealing with.

Can’t help but wonder if a white straight couple had the same situation, due to the man’s infertility, would there be the same amount of coverage on it? Or would the media see that as understandable?

I think how they frame this lawsuit to their daughter down the road will be important, and hopefully when she is old enough to learn about it, they’ll be able to do it sensitively and in the context of a strong, loving relationship. I know some of the outrage is worry about how the daughter will be affected. It isn’t a perfect situation, by any means, but publicly berating parents doesn’t do anyone any good, right?
