I also feel that when someone falls into/chooses a not-so-good relationship because they feel that it is a "safer" option, the long term hurt outweighs the 1-time breakup hurt, no? Either way, its awfully tricky seeing it transpire from an outsider pt of view. Thanks for commenting Susan

We always see/hear of ill relationships, but when it involves someone close to you, it’s REALLY difficult to sit idly by. I’ve got a 13 yr old now and we just give her the tools & keep our fingers crossed for the road ahead!

Boy, I wish some of my exes had read this! It hurts to be dumped, but there is a better way to do it that doesn’t humiliate that a lot of guys (and probably girls) could practice. Great post.

Amen! Excellent post, as always. This is something so many people in toxic relationships need to read. Unfortunately, those that need these kind of words are not like;y to read or listen to them. I hope that your friend’s daughter finds the strength to take control of her life and make the decision for him
