Mike, beautifully written article. The greatest treasure we carry with us in our lives are our memories of loved ones. It amazes me how many of those memories involve food and family gatherings. How fortunate for you that you can carry on this memory of your grandparents with your children. I hope they carry it on with their children as well. Long live the waffle maker, making great waffles, and even better memories.
