A college friend of mine, Spoony (no really), would aways make conversation with the cabbies when we were shuttling around DC. It was much more than weather related & at the end of each ride everyone felt somewhat connected and more aware of each other’s existence. I’ve carried that with me and how ironic..my 13 yr old knows a bit about mortification when I over share as well!

LMK how you’re doing with that 2c’ part..it’s unfortunately embedded in my DNA, but I’m trying!!

I make a point of starting conversations on a daily basis (much to my tween’s mortification), I live to create new things, grow only by helping where I can and am a dedicated hugger (ESPECIALLY at school drop-off…again, to the mortification of Miss Tween). The ‘not adding my 2c’ part…hmmmm, working on that one.
