And I felt like it was cheating at first too. I started off with non-fiction (Eat, Pray, Love and The Julie & Julia Project) then moved on to fiction. I think my favorite is Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett with the Girl with a Dragon Tattoo series a close second.
