50 Uses for Essential Oils

Essential oils are all the latest rage. Have you caught the essential oil bug yet? If you have then you’re going to find 50 uses for Essential Oils that will most likely blow your mind and if you haven’t started using essential oils then you’re going to have 50 reasons that you should be!

50 Uses for Essential Oils

Let’s start out with beauty because I don’t know about you, but I must spend hundreds of dollars on all sorts of products that claim to be “wrinkle reducing”. My biggest worry is that I have no idea what types of chemicals are in those products. I’ve quickly learned over the last couple of years that natural is so much better for my skin and especially for my girls. Here are just some of my favorite beauty DIYs using essential oils.

Next up should definitely be health since that seems to be the point this day in the age. I’ve grown to understand that what we put into our bodies makes a huge difference. Now, don’t get me wrong, I definitely add my fair share of sugar, but I’m working to consume more natural products. It’s important to note that not all essential oils are created equally. I only trust Young Living Essential Oils because they are therapeutic grade so it’s important that you research your oils before purchasing.

Since I started using my essential oils I have made a concerted effort to keep my home chemical free and one great way to maintain this is by using essential oils to create natural cleaning products.

Now it wouldn’t be right to forget about the kids when it comes to essential oils. My girls love their oils because, yes, they have “their” oils. My oldest has hers for the diffuser in her room while my youngest has hers as part of her bedtime routine. Can I just tell you how nice it is to have her sleep through the night?! So nice! The great thing about the oils is that you can incorporate them into play for the kids and they won’t even realize it or if they do they’ll just want more. They just smell so good!

The oils are great because they can be used in everything from dessert to beverages so you’ll be sure to get great use out of your oils in all aspects of your life!
