The key to overcoming that mentality is to focus on what you can do instead of what you can’t! Like you, Laurie – your squares aren’t going to right everything that’s wrong in Africa, but they will make just a “small” difference. And that “small” difference can mean big things to the kids you’re helping – plus it’s something that you can feel really good about, and something that will pave the way for even bigger improvements and changes.It sounds like Karen and Mary have a fabulous idea to make their “small” difference, too.
