“Happy weekend!” I love when the ping of text messages about the weekend start hitting my phone on Fridays. My husband and I cheer each other on with words of encouragement about making it through another week. Ready to celebrate the weekend, sometimes that means a wine glass in hand, snacks, yoga pants and Netflix.

And sometimes celebrating the weekend means kids at grandma’s house and cocktails on the deck.

Books in hand.

Quiet.

Conversing about more than the week’s logistics.

And snacks just for us.

Sharing something good.

On a recent weekend, the sun unexpectedly peaked out of the wintery sky and showered us with a warm spring day that we usually only dream about. With the kids at grandma’s house and an afternoon free of plans, we sat down at the table outside with drinks, books and GOOD THiNS snacks.

GOOD THiNS snacks are wholesome, light texture snacks with goodness baked inside. So on our sunny afternoon, I set out a couple varieties of GOOD THiNS snacks and we sat back and relaxed. I love that we can just grab a box and have an impromptu happy hour. No recipe or topping needed, GOOD THiNS snacks are delicious on their own and they have 60% less fat than the leading regular fried potato chip, which makes it a snack you can feel good about. And isn’t sharing something good, exactly what we need at the end of the week?

GOOD THiNS snacks start with real ingredients like wheat, potato and rice. They are baked thin and crispy, not fried, no artificial flavors or colors, no cholesterol, no partially hydrogenated oils and no high fructose corn syrup. My husband and I loved “The Potato One.” Each bite is bursting with savory flavors of spinach and garlic. Baking the snack gives it a light and crispy texture that is equally delicious and wholesome. The makers of SomeTHiN Good Snacks don’t take life too seriously and believe that snacks can be fun, contain real ingredients and be filled with unbelievable taste. And I love that.

The reality is that no matter how you celebrate making it through the day or week, parenting through the week is something to celebrate. The monotony of folding laundry, carpools, meal planning, picking up the toys and referring sibling rivalry is consuming. When the end of the day or week comes, parents want to share something good. GOOD THiNS Snacks perfectly compliment a night on the couch watching a movie or an afternoon on the deck reading books. After a day or week of taking care of others, you deserve the time and experience to relax. Just grab a box of GOOD THiNS Snacks, no other cooking or prep needed and take the time to share something good with someone you love.

GOOD THiNS Snacks available in the following varieties: GOOD THiNS Sweet Potato, GOOD THiNS Chickpea Garlic and Herb, GOOD THiNS Original Potato, GOOD THiNS Potato Spinach & Garlic and GOOD THiNS Rice Veggie Blend.Share Something Good GOOD THiNS - Potato - Spinach & GarlicGOOD THiNS Snacks are now available in the cracker aisle at the Albertsons in Bellingham, Washington and the Safeway or Albertson’s near you!
