This post contains affiliate linksIt’s that time of year when we start to think about what we will be making our kids for lunch and whether we will be using brown paper bags, reusable bags, or lunch boxes.

Lunch boxes are our choice because:

1) My kids don’t end up with squished sandwiches and plums (so gross) and the cleaning is SO easy.

2) I find that when I use a bag, I tend to throw other bags inside which results in lots of waste and food choices that might not be as healthy.

3) Another perk with these designs is that I can incorporate bits of dinner from the night before which cuts down on food waste.

4) Everything is visible, accessible and becomes finger food. My kids love finger food.

5) They can easily pack their own lunches the night before! After dinner, the boxes come out and everyone packs their lunch.
