I cannot sing the praises of cast iron cookware loudly enough! It’s a fabulous must-have for every kitchen.

When cared for properly, cast iron cookware will last a lifetime. Literally. Maybe you have a cast iron pan sitting in the back of a cabinet that’s old, worn & rusted….do not get rid of it, it can be salvaged and brought back to life. Also, well-seasoned cast iron pans are totally non-stick! So, say sayonara to any teflon pans your still have lurking in the cabinets and get out the cast iron.

This easy to follow tutorial on how to season a cast iron pan, along with my list of seasoning do’s and don’ts will keep your cast iron pans in great shape year after year.
