Sometimes when I get an idea in my head, I just can’t let go of it until I at least give it a try!  I wanted to add a a head of cabbage or some carrots to my Easter vignette on my kitchen shelf.  When I saw some cabbage leaves made out of coffee filters, I was inspired to make this project.

ABOUT DANNI: Danni developed a love of crafting and creating her own decor after moving to Montana where the winters are long and very cold.  Because of frequent relocation, she decided it was far more sensible to revamp her decor to suit the various styles of homes she lived in:  a modern A-frame, a log cabin, a sprawling split-level and now a Missouri farmhouse.  In the fall her crafting takes a different turn when she opens her farm to the public for a Fall Festival that includes a pumpkin patch and corn maze with many activities for children and endless possibilities for fall decorating.  Danni’s blog, Silo Hill Farm is full of easy and inexpensive ideas for creating your own decor.
