100th Day of School: Celebrate with Kindness

Sometime in the next few months, 100 becomes a big number for Preschool and Elementary children around the US, as they celebrate being in school for 100 days. Teachers plan events and send home projects for the kids to complete, even homeschool families get involved. It’s a big day and falls nicely in the middle of the coldest part of the year, bringing joy and celebration. Finding ideas and inspiration for those at-home projects can be a interesting at times, but as the 100th Day normally falls around Valentine’s Day kindness and love make great themes – check out these ideas for Celebrating the 100th Day of School with Kindness.

One Hundred of anything makes a great place to start. Creating a bird feeder with one hundred sunflower seeds or a 100 stamped heart chain would be a lot of fun. You could also read together with some great books about spreading kindness.  Learn to count to 100 and celebrate the 100th Day of School with activities you can do together to create positive family connections.
